Selected work
Fathom, a platform for the group-benefits industry, built and deployed
Scotia Blue Technology designed and built Fathom, a multi-tenant platform for the group insurance industry. Fathom automates the back-office work benefits brokers and firms otherwise do by hand.
Document analysis
Reads carrier renewal reports, census files, and plan booklets and pulls out the underwriting detail (loss ratios, pooling, rate tables, cost drivers) with no manual data entry.
Renewal forecasting
Projects age-band demographic drift and flags unused coverage, so an employer sees the shape of a renewal before the carrier letter arrives.
Enrollment mapping
Translates employee data into any insurer enrollment format, removing the per-carrier paperwork that ties a broker to one provider.
Carrier monitoring
Ingests insurer bulletins, matches each change to the affected clients, and drafts the client communication.
Built on Next.js and PostgreSQL with per-tenant data isolation, encrypted credentials, an append-only audit log, and metered model usage.
First client: East Coast Employee Benefits, a Halifax-based group benefits brokerage, is the platform first deployment.
